Position Summary:

Primary focus of role to provide assistance and support to Client Consultants on department initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organization of data collection, data entry used in preparation of reports for internal and external use, creation of proactive client tools, maintenance of these tools, and input toward development of best solutions to client financial monitoring needs.

  • Assists in the preparation of presentations, campaigns, communication materials, newsletters, etc. to internal staff and clients / prospects regarding underwriting policies and scope of services.

  • Reviews contract documents such as plan descriptions, administrative agreements, claim exclusions and limitations, etc. in order to gain basic knowledge of client parameters that may impact financial reports.

  • Participates in and helps schedule regular underwriting team meetings. Performs standard tasks using established and routine methods, principles, concepts and procedures typically on assignments of low complexity.

  • Typically works under close supervision and guidance.

  • Conducts any activity for special assignments as assigned by management.

Additional Considerations:

  • Creates and analyzes financial and utilization reports.

  • Maintains historical data file integrity for clients.

  • Prepares additional reporting to facilitate consultant engagement with clients.

  • Completes calculations and analysis to support client deliverables.

  • Performs quality assurance work to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

  • Supports staff when needed in other areas.

  • Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.


  • High School diploma and 2 or more years related experience.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications and Microsoft Office.


  • Intermediate Excel skills.

  • BS/BA preferred in mathematical sciences, statistics or related field; or commensurate experience.

  • Demonstrated ability to work with numbers and apply mathematical concepts in analyzing data.

  • Self-motivated and achievement oriented with the ability to work in teams.

  • Excellent organization, prioritization and time management skills and ability to move quickly and complete work with great sense of urgency.

  • Must be able to multi-task to meet deadlines with quality and accurate deliverables.
