Gallagher's Graphics Department is a corporate resource providing graphic support to most Gallagher divisions and branches.
The Graphic Designer is responsible for designing art and copy layouts for material to be presented by visual communications media such as books, magazines, newspapers, television, electronic media, and packaging.

We are looking for an experienced Graphic Designer to:
Create high impact print and web-ready assets including:
Marketing Collateral (print, digital and interactive)
Tradeshow signage and materials
Translate concepts and designs across multiple media with consistency and brand compliance
Participate in creative / conceptual brainstorm sessions
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Consults with client or supervisor to evaluate individual project needs.
Prepares illustrations or rough sketches of material according to instructions of client or supervisor.
Determines size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, selects style and size of type, and create sample layouts.
Selects, supervises, and obtains cost estimates from outside vendors such as photographers, illustrators, paper suppliers, or printers.
Presents samples to supervisor or client for selection and approval.
Creates finished layout or prepares instructions for workers who assemble and prepare final layouts.
Reviews final layout and suggests improvements as needed, and presents final layout to supervisor or client for approval.
Minimum 3 years related work experience
Knowledge of current graphic design equipment, tools and techniques
The idea candidate will have:
Excellent graphic design and layout skills with expertise in vector and pre-press formats including EPS, SVG, PNG & PDF
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver)
Experience with PowerPoint
Experience with digital marketing
Ability to execute creative marketing strategies to achieve sales and marketing objectives
Copy writing skills
