The position

Gallagher Bassett has been appointed to provide claims management services for general insurance lines on behalf of icare Insurance for NSW.

With this exiting new contract, we are currently seeking an experienced full time permanent Quality Assurance Consultant to join our new office in the Sydney CBD .

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Conduct quality assurance audits for Motor, Property, General and Health Liability claims

  • Collating QA data to present to internal and external stakeholders

  • Reporting

  • Development of quality assurance framework in conjunction with key internal/external stakeholders

  • Assist in preparation and execution of audits by internal/external auditors

  • Extensive reporting and review analysis

To win this role you will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience / what we are looking for:

  • High attention to detail and accuracy with exceptional time management

  • Minimum 3 years experience in a claims management role or similar QA role – ideally Health, General Lines, Property and/or Motor

  • Intermediate to advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills

  • Understanding of jurisdictional legislation and associated regulations

  • Problem solver with ability to communicate effectively through both verbal and written communication
