Gallagher Event Marketing Coordinator in Rolling Meadows, Illinois

We also offer claims and information management, risk control consulting, and appraisal services to clients around the world.

Looking for a detail-oriented marketing coordinator to help support Gallagher’s event marketing programs. Primary focus for this new role is on tactical planning and execution of marketing events and trade shows. The marketing coordinator assists in creating brand awareness through advertising, social media, digital and more. This role manages projects, campaigns, and budgets. Also responsible for status reports on marketing efforts, brand analysis, competitive information, and metrics. Must be able to communicate effectively across different levels of the organization, and meet deadlines for multiple projects.

Job Requirements

  • Assistingteam members with day-to-day marketing tasks and coordinating marketing projectsand activities as requested

  • Organizethe production of branded items such as stationery, merchandise, giveaways foremployee and event use

  • Supportthe in-house marketing and design team by coordinating and collating content

  • Set uptracking systems for marketing campaigns via trade shows and events

  • Trackcompetitor activity by keeping abreast of market changes and the marketing mixused by competitors

  • Managingand benchmarking marketing and lead generation campaigns

  • Assistingwith the production of artwork, sourcing images, print buying and checking copy

  • Produceclear and concise written correspondence in the form of letters and emails

  • Analyze/benchmark competitor sponsorships and events

  • Schedule, book and coordinate logistics for events, meetings,trade shows

  • Pulling target lists from

  • Assisting with presentations, specifically in Power Point

  • Track budget and campaign spending

  • Support full marketing team with lead generation from events, recordingof data, metrics, and staying within budget requirements

  • This position will entail independent travel, including someweekends, hosting of clients, and management of events – travel requirement 15%


  • Bachelor's degree

  • 3 years related work experience
