You'll spend your days looking after your client accounts. Having a deep understanding of their needs, in order to maintain effective working relationships whilst delivering growth and renewal targets.

Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities:

  • Can you grow your income, book of business and client base? Spending time having real conversations with your contacts, converting new business leads by always securing the best deal. You'll need to enhance performance from existing and potential clients so you'll take pride in your persuasive powers.

  • Using your proven knowledge, you'll identify new business opportunities for existing clients and make your recommendations accordingly. This is where having meaningful client relationships will prove essential.

  • Managing the full renewal process, you will actively obtain renewal terms for your customers and identify potential opportunities. This is a chance for you to use your expert market knowledge. You'll have the desire to build positive relationships with brokers, ensuring terms negotiated suit your client’s needs.

  • You may visit clients from time to time, we need you to be confident in your ability to craft long-lasting and positive impressions. It matters to us how you represent not only yourself but our family's reputation. Are you able to be consistent at both client and decision maker level?

  • There may be times when you wear you adopt a more financial approach to your workload. You'll use your problem solving skills to assess account queries and credit control matters, ensuring they are resolved efficiently.

  • You will have both account management and production responsibilities (hybrid role) with renewal/retention and new business goals.

  • You will also be responsible for the combined functions of the development and successful acquisition on new business revenue from new and existing clients and providing a high level of client service to assigned accounts.

  • For consistency we will require that you align with our professional standards manual. This will apply to the statutory requirements for your role with specific attention, but not limited to Handling Client information, Whistle Blowing and Treating Customers Fairly.

The must have's:

  • Bachelor's degree and 3 years related experience in client coordination and/or claims management.

  • Insurance License required.

  • Able and willing to travel approximately 50% of the time.

  • Must be willing to submit to a background investigation; any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation.
